How To Install AOSP Lollipop :-

After you did download Android 5.0 Lollipop for HTC One, here is how you can install Android 5.0 Lollipop on HTC One using CM12 Custom ROM for HTC One :-

  • Connect your HTC One device with PC.
  • Copy and Paste the Above zip files you downloaded, to the root of your sdcard.
  • Open Recovery mode on your HTC One. Here’s how :-
  1. Connect your HTC One device with PC.
  2. Open Command Prompt , cmd , in Fastboot folder. (ADB & Fastboot Tools Installer).
  3. Now simply Type: adb reboot bootloader.
  4. Choose Recovery from Bootloader.

CWM/PhilZ Touch Recovery :-

  1. Back-up your original initial ROM using the Recovery.
  2. To Perform a Back-up, Navigate to Back-up and Restore on Next screen, Choose Back-up again.
  3. Go back to Main Screen after the Back-up is complete.
  4. Now go to ‘advance’ and choose ‘Devlik Wipe Cache’, so you won’t get in any bootloop.
  5. Now go to ‘Install zip from sd card’ , another windows will open right in front of you.
  6. Finally you can Select “Wipe Data/Factory Reset”.
  7. Select ‘choose zip from sd card’ from the Options.
  8. Select the Android 5.0.zip file and confirm the installation on next screen.
  9. Once the Installation is complete, Select ” +++++Go Back+++++ “.
  10. Select Reboot Now to Reboot the System.

For the TWRP Users :-

  1. Tap over Back-Up and Select “System and Data”.
  2. Swipe the Confirmation Slider.
  3. Tap over Wipe Button and Select Cache, System, Data.
  4. Swipe the Confirmation Slider again.
  5. Go back to Main Menu and Tap the “Install” Button.
  6. Locate the Android 5.0.zip, Gapps.zip and Swipe the Slider to “install” it also.
  7. Once the Installation is successfully complete, you will be promoted to “Reboot System Now”.
  8. Now select “Reboot Now” to Reboot the System.

The first boot might take up-to half an hour, so you can do something else meanwhile.
